We love popcorn and of course, my job is to make it as healthy as possible. Popcorn is a good source of fiber and depending on what you choose to put on top, it with can be more or less healthy. Like I have mentioned I am a big fan of fat. We use grass-fed butter, kosher salt or Himalayan pink salt, and Bragg Nutritional Yeast Seasoning. Nutritional yeast is a great source of Riboflavin B2, Niacin B6, Folic Acid, Pantothenic Acid, Selenium, vitamin B12, and Zinc.
There have been several studies showing that microwave popcorn is less than healthy for you. Please feel free to research this on your own. We use a Whirley Pop! They are inexpensive and easy to use.
