Sweet Treat

These are sweet and delicious and pack a nutritional punch! Dates are super sweet and full of natural sugar but paired with almond butter and raw cacao nibs ( no sugar) can be a powerhouse of a sweet treat.

Method:

Slice each date down the middle and remove the pit. Insert a half tablespoon or so of almond butter and top with raw cacao nibs.

Keep refrigerated until you plan on using. I send them to school in lunch boxes or take on hikes.

Personally, I LOVE MaraNatha Almond butter and Earth Circle Organics Cacao Nibs.

 

Dates: Vit. A, K, Niacin, SOdium, Calcium, Potacium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, fiber.

Almond Butter: Monosaturated fat, Protein, Fiber, Potassium, Calcium, and Magnesium.

Cacao Nibs: Protien, Fiber, Antioxidants, Magnesiu, Potasium, Iron.
