Soup is such a magical thing. We have soup in our home, at minimum, two nights a week. It is a great way to get broth and the nutrients that come with the use of homemade broth, use up all those veggies in your fridge, incorporate culture and spice.
Spices for health, so many to list but most importably for my family:
coconut milk, cream, oil
Adding in fermented foods or cultured foods is a great way to add a one two punch. These should be added when the soup is done cooking and about to eat. They should not be boiled to reap the best benefits.
