I love everything onion. I love them cooked or raw. I have very few recipes without onions. They are also a very powerful prebiotic. They feed the good bacteria in your gut. You can BBQ, BAKE, or THROW THEM IN THE CAMPFIRE.
Peel your onion. Use a melon baller or sharp pairing knife to cut out a whole at the top and hallow out about a 1/4 cup of onion. Add in a tablespoon of butter, 1/2-1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce or steak sauce, and sprinkle with pepper. Place the whole thing in foil and wrap tightly. They take about an hour in a very hot cooking environment. Open carefully! I eat them straight but you can put them on rice, burgers, with vegetables, or with any meat/fish. They are sweet and salty and just smell amazing!
