Update! Pineapple Tumeric Kraut

 
Could this be more beautiful? I let it ferment for a full four weeks to ensure full health benefits (good bacteria growth)! It is bright golden and amazing!
I am serving it with roasted fingerlings and habanero sausage!

Try it!!!!

 

Note: with this method I use an airlock. It is important to use an airlock to keep out all oxygen for long ferments. That is what supports the growth of good bacteria.
