Yummy dessert, afternoon pick me up, or after workout reward!
Banana Cocoa Date Smoothie
You will need:
*1 teaspoon cocoa
*1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
*3 dates (pitts removed)
*1/2 cup cashew milk (or milk of choice)
*6 ice cubes
*1/2 tablesooon coconut oil (optional)
* 2 tablespoons water at hand in case the smoothie is too thick
Put all ingredients into blender, except water, and blend until well incorporated. I added some water due to it being too thick to continue to blend. I like it well blended and smooth.
Very high in potassium! Good fat from coconut oil, pick me up from raw cocoa, and cinnamon helps to reduce blood pressure.
