Honey Mustard Dressing
I recently rediscovered Honey Mustard Dressing. I was reading Eating on the Wild Side: The Missing Link to Optimum Health by Jo Robinson and she recommended eating greens with honey mustard dressing to minimize the bitterness of the greens. Which it does!
This recipe is also a great use for the left over honey from fermenting honey garlic! You can also incorporate your honey fermented garlic in this dressing if you don’t enjoy eating it.
You will need:
*3 cloves of garlic fresh or fermented in honey/vinegar
*2 tablespoons of yellow mustard ( you can use whole grain mustard but it is not as tangy)
*2 tablespoons of honey (fermented garlic honey)
*1/2 cup good olive oil
*1-2 tablespoons water (to thin to your preference)
*salt & pepper to taste
Place all ingredients into blender or use an immersion blender and cup. Blend very well. It tastes best fully blended and fairly thin. Remember, this is what I prefer, please add or omit ingredients based on your own taste buds. Store in a plastic or glass jar in the fridge. I would use within two weeks.
