Pineapple Bourbon Cocktail
Winter is here. We all need something to warm us up. I highly recommend this lovely cocktail, reminiscent of warm summer nights and sandy beaches.
You can use fresh pineapple juice or fermented pineapple juice. If you want to use fermented pineapple juice see below. You can also use fresh pineapple and blend it in your blender until smooth.
You will need:
*2 shots of pineapple juice
*2 shots bourbon
*1/4 of a lemon squeezed
Combine all in a shaker ( my preference) shake till ice cold and pour into two glasses of choice. You can blend all ingredients (sans ice) and pour over ice into two glasses.
Fermented pineapple juice: take fresh pineapple and juice it or blend fruit and core ( if your blender is capable of it such as Vitamix or Blendtec). Once juiced, you can put two cups in a jar with 2 tablespoons of whey and put a lid on it. Leave for 24-48 hours. Place in fridge and use for up to month.
